Mustangs Topple Panthers with Late Rally
The Charleston Panthers and San Angelo Mustangs provided some drama at Franklin Mountains Field.

San Angelo Mustangs starter J.J. Crawford turned in a sterling performance against the Charleston Panthers, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. San Angelo reliever José Santos picked up the win to move to 1-2. Naozane Kato suffered the loss. Beau Miller recorded his 6th save for San Angelo.

Kichisaburo Nishimura made it 3-2 in favor of San Angelo when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Mustangs went on to win.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Crawford.

After today's action, San Angelo sits at 38-23, while Charleston falls to 22-40.
