Arreola Deals Victoria 4-3 Setback
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements at The Reservation enjoyed themselves.

The Chippewa River Chiefs did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Victoria Vikings at The Reservation. Nobody did more than pitcher Felipe Arreola, who captured player of the game honors. George Fortin Jr. recorded the save for Chippewa, his 11th of the season.

Arreola allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings for the River Chiefs. He walked 2 and struck out 7.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Victoria manager Charles Luce. "The effort was great."

The River Chiefs bumped their record to 32-27 with this latest triumph.
