Chuang Goes Off, But Mustangs Win
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.

Boise catcher Xiao-peng Chuang had a terrific game. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. San Angelo beat the Bloodhounds, 6-4. Chuang was named the player of the game despite the loss. San Angelo now sits in second place in the Buck O'Neil League San Diego Chicken Division at 37-22.

Jayden Punchardon, who is tied for 10th in the BOL in triples with 2, helped out the San Angelo cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Punchardon told reporters after the game.
