|
Eugene left-hander Francisco Cohen was in fine form, shutting out the Nichols Gnats, 6-0. With the victory, the Emeralds record now stands at 32-27.
Also making an impact was right fielder José Padilla, who drilled a 2-run double in the bottom of the third inning for the Emeralds. For the game, Padilla went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
