Jedi Knights Come Back Late, Nip Mustangs
The New Orleans Jedi Knights eked out a 5-4 win versus the San Angelo Mustangs at The Republic. Nobody did more than third baseman Bhavsar Jayasurya, who captured player of the game honors. New Orleans reliever Ernie Henderson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. José Santos absorbed the loss. New Orleans is now 40-15, San Angelo 35-20.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Jayasurya. Facing José Santos with a runner on 1st, the New Orleans third baseman had a 2-run home run. Game over, walk-off style!

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said New Orleans manager Mathew Thomas.
