Bloodhounds Hang 8-2 Loss on Knights
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old right fielder Stan Bell, the Boise Bloodhounds stopped the Kingwood Knights, 8-2. Boise is now 25-29, Kingwood 16-38.
Tied up with the Knights in the bottom of the fourth, the Bloodhounds got a boost from catcher Josh Abbott. With the bases loaded, Abbott saw a 2-1 curveball from Ruggiero Valturri and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Boise on top, 2-0.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Abbott.
