The Barrow Frosties got a strong performance from pitcher Takehide Sato, who stymied the San Angelo offense en route to a 3-2 win at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. Ken Morita, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. Barrow has now won 5 in a row.

Barrow took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Flipp Gorbachev stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Frosties.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Gorbachev said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
