Blue Claws Suffer 5-3 Loss to Cyclones
|
Old Bay Park was the site of a competitive game between the Baltimore Blue Claws and Coney Island Cyclones.
Coney Island catcher Brendan Acton had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Baltimore Blue Claws, 5-3. The Cyclones move to 21-33 with the win, while the Blue Claws drop to 31-23.
In the top of the fifth inning, Coney Island got a break when Acton went to the plate. With two outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Cyclones leading 2-0, Acton hit a 2-run single.
"I felt good up there," said Acton. "I saw the ball well."
