Coney Island first baseman Henry Amesbury had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Baltimore at Old Bay Park. Amesbury was 2-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Baltimore reliever Chico Silvrio picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Kiyohira Yokoyama absorbed the loss.
