Late Rally by Vikings Secures Win
The Victoria Vikings got a magnificent performance from pitcher Maurice Bignold, who muffled the St. Paul offense en route to a tight 2-1 Vikings win at Saints Ballpark. In 7 innings, Bignold surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. The Vikings raised their record to 20-29.

Victoria took a 2-1 lead on Shunso Arai's 28th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Arai hit in the top of the eighth, left St. Paul pitcher Mickael Raymond visibly frustrated.
