Loss Extends Eugene Losing Streak
|
With right fielder Jason Brown leading the charge, the Baltimore Blue Claws defeated the Eugene Emeralds, 9-4, at Old Bay Park. Brown was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Baltimore reliever Scott Bernard got the win, raising his record to 4-1. José Díaz was tagged with the loss. The slumping Emeralds have dropped 6 in a row.
Early in the game, third baseman Hugo Henrique had a bases-clearing triple for Baltimore. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Blue Claws on top, 3-0.
