Jesters Cut Down Blazers, 3-1
|
In a tight game between the Jersey Jesters and the Bloomington Blazers, pitcher Daryl Wyles was terrific on the mound. The Jersey right-hander was named the player of the game in Jersey's 3-1 win. The Jesters improve their record to 77-82 with the win over Bloomington.
Carlos Cantú contributed to the Jersey cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single, propelling Jersey to the win.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Cantú.
