Tight Tilt Goes to Vikings, 2-1
|
Victoria Vikings starter Yoshimochi Chikuda turned in a sterling performance against the Winfield Warriors, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. The Vikings' win now puts them at 19-29.
Victoria took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Yuji Koumura hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Vikings.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Chikuda said.
