River Chiefs Suffer 5-2 Loss to Blue Claws
|
The Blue Claws had to overcome a fine performance from Chippewa pitcher Kichibei Endo to grab a 5-2 win at The Reservation. Endo allowed 2 earned runs over 6 innings. Tim Stady earned his 9th save in 13 tries. Baltimore is now 25-22, Chippewa 27-20.
Larry Sloan didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run home run to put Baltimore on top, 2-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Baltimore Blue Claws manager David Parker.
