The New Orleans Jedi Knights thumped the Barrow Frosties, 8-2, at The Blizzard Bowl. Shinji Kakuta was a big reason his team got the win. Kakuta was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. New Orleans has an impressive 30-14 record.
Edison Weldon contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that propelled New Orleans to the win.
