Jedi Knights Bang Out 9-5 Win Versus Barrow
|
New Orleans shortstop Bhavsar Jayasurya made his presence felt in the 9-5 Jedi Knights triumph over the Barrow Frosties. Jayasurya was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. New Orleans reliever Eli Shepard picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Takehide Sato absorbed the loss. New Orleans has an impressive 29-14 record.
Jayasurya contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped New Orleans get the win.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Jayasurya told the New Orleans Herald.
