Late Rally Gets Win for River Chiefs
The Chippewa River Chiefs picked up a win at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, knocking off the San Angelo Mustangs, 5-3. Starting pitcher Willi Kehr, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. George Fortin Jr. sewed up the save, his 8th. Chippewa is now 26-17, while San Angelo is 27-16.

Late-game drama came in the top of the eighth inning. With one out and a runner on 1st, Chippewa designated hitter Wang Tong hit a run-scoring double, helping his team get the win.

"We did enough to win," said Tong.
