Ramírez Shines in Warriors Win
The Winfield Warriors easily defeated the Nichols Gnats, 12-4, at The Barn, with center fielder Claudio Ramírez a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Winfield. The losses continue to mount for Nichols, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at The Barn seemed to enjoy watching the Buck O'Neil League action.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Nichols skipper Stanley Martin.
