Baltimore first baseman Larry Sloan made his presence felt in the 8-1 Blue Claws triumph over the St. Paul Saints. Sloan was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Baltimore starter Randy Gould was credited with the win after throwing 86 pitches over 7 innings.
