The Baltimore Blue Claws outlasted the St. Paul Saints in an extra-inning thriller.

The Blue Claws faced a stiff challenge from St. Paul pitcher Izo Rin, but persevered to claim a win at Old Bay Park. The final score was 4-3. Rin went 5.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The Blue Claws saw their win-loss record go to 18-19. At the same time, the Saints fell to 22-15.

The game was far from mistake-free. In the bottom of the tenth, the Saints committed a costly error on a base hit by Jorge Reyes. Baltimore scored 1 on the play to take the lead, 4-3.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Baltimore manager David Parker.
