Frosties Turn Back Coney Island, 4-2
|
Barrow Frosties starter Takehide Sato pitched a strong game against the Coney Island Cyclones at Coney Island Coliseum, leading the Frosties to a 4-2 win. Ken Morita earned the save for Barrow, his 2nd. Barrow is now 20-18, Coney Island 17-21.
Juan Archuleta had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the top of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he got hit by a pitch, helping Barrow to the win.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Barrow manager Ismael Rodríguez.
