Victoria got a terrific game from first baseman Pedro Moreno. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Boise, 11-10. Moreno was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 7. Boise reliever Mitsuzuka Nakano was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Jean-François Blot. With the win, Boise has a record of 15-21. Victoria falls to 14-22.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 10-10, pinch hitter Isei Ikeda won it for Boise. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Ikeda hit a 1-0 curveball from Joe Edwards for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 11-10 win.

"What a game," said Ikeda. "We needed every last run."
