Ivey Delivers Walk-Off Win for Knights
|
The Baltimore Blue Claws wasted an inspired, 6.1-inning effort from starter Randy Gould, falling 2-1 to the Kingwood Knights at Stable Park. The Blue Claws fall to 14-18 and continue their lackluster start in 2028.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Kingwood trailing 1-0, Dennis Ivey hit a curveball from Tim Stady to right for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Knights had a walk-off win.
Ivey described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
