River Chiefs Lose to Frosties in Walk Off
The Barrow Frosties had to overcome a big game from Chippewa third baseman Jeff Bryan to leave The Blizzard Bowl with a 10-9 victory. Bryan was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Barrow reliever Tokuhei Yano picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-2. Vítor Carrlo was collared with the loss. With the loss, Chippewa sinks to 21-11.

Coming to the plate with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, Barrow left fielder Flipp Gorbachev had a chance to be the hero. Facing Chippewa pitcher Vítor Carrlo with runners on 1st and 3rd, Gorbachev grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Gorbachev.
