Munier Twirls a Gem for New Orleans
|
Pitcher Dave Munier was sensational for the New Orleans Jedi Knights in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Victoria Vikings. Munier received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Ross Astbury recorded his 7th save for New Orleans. The Jedi Knights have an impressive 21-12 record.
Munier, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 3-0. In 8 innings of work, Munier gave up no earned runs on 3 hits, while racking up 6 Ks. He kept the Vikings punchless, offensively.
