Jedi Knights Get Road Win, 7-3
|
The New Orleans Jedi Knights picked up a win at The drakkar, knocking off the Victoria Vikings, 7-3. Starting pitcher Dao-zi Chou, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Ross Astbury closed it out for his 6th save. The Vikings fall to 12-19 and continue their uneven start to the 2028 season.
With the bases loaded and one out in the top of the eighth inning, second baseman Richard Hutcheon delivered big for the Jedi Knights. New Orleans was leading 3-2 when he belted a grand slam home run.
"They played a better game than we did," said Victoria skipper Charles Luce.
