Bloodhounds Sink Saints, 7-4
|
The Boise Bloodhounds topped the St. Paul Saints, 7-4, with first baseman Gareth Tucker playing a big role. Tucker hit 2 home runs for the Bloodhounds in the win. The winner was Boise reliever Ken Banks, now 4-1. The loser was François Imbert. Mitsuzuka Nakano earned the save for Boise, his 9th.
Tucker delivered in the top of the fourth for Boise. With the game tied and the bases empty, the right fielder hit a solo home run to left-center.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Tucker.
With the win, Boise boosts its record to 13-16.
