The Eugene Emeralds got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-1 win over the Kingwood Knights. Player of the game honors went to center fielder Aki Daijo. Daijo, who is tied for 5th in the BOL in bases on balls with 23, drew 5 walks, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 2. Po-sin Pang got the win, improving to 1-2. He held the Knights to 1 runs on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 0. The win leaves Eugene with a record of 16-12.

Roy Johnston contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped send Eugene to the win.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Rodger Raymond.
