|
The San Angelo Mustangs topped the Kingwood Knights by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Jean-Bernard Chenu. Chenu was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Mustangs. Luis Domínguez picked up the save for San Angelo, his 5th of the year. The Mustangs, now 19-8, have played some good baseball in the early going.
With a runner on 2nd and one out in the top of the fifth inning, third baseman Steven Darby delivered big for the Mustangs. San Angelo was leading 3-2 when he belted a 2-run home run.
