The Coney Island Cyclones downed the Victoria Vikings, 9-3, at The drakkar. Brendan Acton led the way, going 2-for-4 for Coney Island. Tzu-yu Lau got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Vikings to 1 runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 3. Kiyohira Yokoyama earned the save for Coney Island, his 1st of the year.

In the top of the fourth inning, first baseman Henry Amesbury came through big-time for the Cyclones. With Coney Island leading 3-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Amesbury.
