Frosties, Drewry Pin Bad Loss on Saints
|
The Barrow Frosties put together a convincing win at The Blizzard Bowl, defeating the St. Paul Saints, 12-0. Denzel Drewry was one of the hitting stars. He went 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for Barrow. Hyun-jung Kim earned the win to go to 3-0. He allowed no earned runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts. The Frosties raised their record to 13-11.
Barrow left fielder Takahashi Takahashi contributed to the cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, Takahashi went 1 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"They took us to the woodshed," said St. Paul manager Jonathan Barnes.
