The St. Paul Saints eked out a 4-3 win versus the Barrow Frosties at The Blizzard Bowl. Nobody did more than pitcher Ju-ao Ru, who captured player of the game honors. St. Paul reliever Gervais Gandon was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Rhys Sellars. The loss drops Barrow to 11-11.

Had it not been for Brandon Sturgeon, the results might have been different. In the top of the seventh inning, when the Saints were trailing 3-2, Sturgeon hit a 2-run single for St. Paul, giving his team the lead.

"We came out with the short end of the stick," said Barrow skipper Ismael Rodríguez.
