Thrilling Walk-Off Win for River Chiefs
Willi Kehr was superb against Kingwood. The left-hander had a change up that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 4-3 River Chiefs victory. The winner was Chippewa reliever Min-bum Yi, now 1-0. The loser was Steve Robinson. The hot start continues for the defending champion River Chiefs, who took their 18th win in 24 this year.

Chippewa won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Steve Robinson on the mound for Kingwood, first baseman Jang-lu Xiang hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing River Chiefs fans to their feet.

Xiang said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
