Warriors Knock Off Barrow at The Blizzard Bowl
|
The Barrow Frosties and Winfield Warriors were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at The Blizzard Bowl.
The Barrow Frosties went down to defeat to Les van Kleef and his Winfield teammates. The final score was 7-2 in favor of the Warriors. With the win, Winfield pushes its record to 11-9.
Frank Chaulk contributed to the Winfield cause with a productive at-bat in the top of the fifth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single, propelling Winfield to the win.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Chaulk.
