Late Rally Gets Win for Bloodhounds
The Boise Bloodhounds beat the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-2, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Marcos Ortíz, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times. Boise reliever Zong-ming Yen picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Javier Luzamoni was saddled with the loss. Mitsuzuka Nakano got credit for the save for Boise. It was his 7th of the year.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fifth inning. Facing San Angelo hurler Javier Luzamoni, Christopher Cozens, who is tied for 5th in the BOL in triples with 1, drew a walk. The Bloodhounds went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ortíz.

With the loss, San Angelo drops to 11-8.
