Knights Fall Short at Victoria
The Victoria Vikings did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Kingwood Knights at The drakkar. Nobody did more than second baseman Yuji Koumura, who captured player of the game honors. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Joe Edwards. The Knights, now 6-10, continue their sluggish start.

Pedro Moreno contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. It was one at-bat that propelled Victoria to the win.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Kingwood manager Rodger Raymond.
