Bloodhounds Get Past Charleston for 8-7 Win
Franklin Mountains Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Boise Bloodhounds and the Charleston Panthers.

The Boise Bloodhounds eked out a 8-7 win versus the Charleston Panthers at Franklin Mountains Field. Nobody did more than second baseman Phil Brooks, who captured player of the game honors. The Panthers fall to 6-10 and continue their wobbly start to the 2028 season.

The Bloodhounds got a gift in the top of the eighth inning. With the game was tied, 6-6, Paul Davis reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run. It made the score 7-6, Boise.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Boise manager Royce Dale.
