The Nichols Gnats defeated the Chippewa River Chiefs, 4-2, in Buck O'Neil League action at The Reservation, with Nichols center fielder Lian-wei Khu named player of the game. António Mejía was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. The win pushes Nichols to a record of 7-9.
