Frosties Prevail, 7-6, Over San Angelo
|
Despite a fine performance by second baseman Mennac Matojo, the San Angelo Mustangs suffered a 7-6 loss to the Barrow Frosties. Matojo went 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Barrow has a mark of 6-7 after the win.
In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, the Mustangs allowed the Frosties to take a 5-3 lead on a base hit and San Angelo error.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Takahashi said.
