|
The St. Paul Saints bested the Victoria Vikings by a score of 6-3, with shortstop José Pérez getting the main credit. On the day, Pérez went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Saints. The Vikings, now 4-8, continue their poor start.
Nassim Mathieu made it 6-3 in favor of St. Paul when he delivered a bases-clearing double. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The red-hot Saints went on to win.
