Panthers Walk Off with Win

For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
Charleston starter Andrew Thompson pitched effectively against the Barrow Frosties at Franklin Mountains Field. The right-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. The Panthers, with just their 3rd win in 10 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
The Panthers were down to their final out when pinch hitter Nathan Jacobson turned a first pitch cutter from Tokuhei Yano into a grand slam home run. The walk-off home run made the Franklin Mountains Field crowd go wild.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Jacobson said.
