Vikings Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Fans who congregated at The Barn were treated to extra-inning drama.

In a tight contest at The Barn, the Victoria Vikings edged the Winfield Warriors by the score of 8-7. Victoria third baseman Yok-sing Mah, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Victoria reliever Joe Edwards got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Wes Hardwick was tagged with the loss.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With two out, Sok-yung An hit a 1-0 fastball from Wes Hardwick for a run-scoring double. It put Victoria in front, 7-6.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," An told the Victoria Gazette. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."

The win takes Victoria to 3-4.
