The Boise Bloodhounds stymied the Coney Island Cyclones, 6-1, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Josh Abbott, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Boise. With the loss, Coney Island drops to 1-4.

Flexing his muscles for Boise was the aforementioned Abbott. The catcher had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Bloodhounds. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory.
