Hornets Get 7-5 Win Versus Bel Air
|
Bethesda starter Estefan López had a strong outing against the Bel Air Princes at Hornets Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-5 win. The winning pitcher was López, now 2-3. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 9. Javier Sánchez got the save, his 12th in 13 chances.
Yeong-suk Ha chipped in for Bethesda, stroking a crucial 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said López.
