The Brisbane Bush Wackers got a strong performance from pitcher Subaru Suzuki, who stymied the Sioux City offense en route to a 3-2 win at Knights Field. With the win, Brisbane goes to 93-66, while the Knights fall to 94-65.
Though he did not get the decision, Suzuki did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6 innings, until Brisbane eventually rallied past the Knights.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Brisbane skipper Pete Barrett. "I can't complain."
