The Brooklyn Black Knights outlasted the Dallas Texans, 5-4, in 14 innings. Tony De La Garza led the way, going 4-for-6 for Brooklyn. The winner was Brooklyn reliever Rod Larcombe, now 2-0. The loser was Ramiro Ortega. Losses have been few and far between for the Texans so far this season. Their record drops to 4-2.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 14th, Joe Watson had a chance to end it. Dallas pitcher Ramiro Ortega had other ideas. But with two outs, Watson hit a walk-off run-scoring double. The Black Knights had the win.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Dallas manager Caleb Haley.
