A nice crowd turned out to see the Brisbane Bush Wackers and Bethesda Hornets clash at Hornets Field.
The Brisbane Bush Wackers went home winners at Hornets Field, thanks in large part to starter Dan Northeast. Northeast silenced the Bethesda Hornets, enabling Brisbane to grab the 4-1 win. The Bush Wackers now own a record of 89-64.
Ryuichi Ine came through for Brisbane in the top of the first. With one out, Ine victimized Alberto García with a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put Brisbane on top, 2-0.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Northeast said.
