Sioux City Knights starter Bobby Mannix was in fine form against the Beach City Seals at Silvery Lane Field, leading his team to a 6-4 win. Earning his 32nd save for Sioux City was Walker Baldwin. The first-place Knights have won 5 straight games.
Luis Elías delivered for Sioux City in the top of the third. His 2-run home run off Beach City pitcher Matt Logan put Sioux City in front, 3-1.
Mannix said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a pretty good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
