|
Pitcher Jack Barrett was sensational for the Beach City Seals in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Palm Beach Bums. Barrett received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Beach City is now 59-91, Palm Beach 36-114.
Palm Beach could barely put a dent in Barrett. The right-hander tossed 88 pitches over 6.1 innings for the Seals, allowing only 4 hits.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Beach City manager Nobuharu Chikafuji.
