Shade Come Back Late to Top Hornets
|
2028 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Bethesda Hornets.
A 4-RBI performance from the 19-year old shortstop Garry Graham helped the Stroudsburg Shade beat the Bethesda Hornets, 10-4. Stroudsburg reliever Christian O'Brien was the winner. His record is now 3-0. John Tracy took the loss.
Graham turned the game around in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Yohachi Fujita, the Stroudsburg designated hitter rapped a grand slam home run. Suddenly, the 4-3 Stroudsburg deficit turned into a 7-4 lead.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Graham.
Stroudsburg, now 56-92, holds 6th place in the August Herrman League Phillie Phanatic Division.
